Book review by Judi Singleton of End of Eternity by Loretta Lost

She thought her life was getting better.
Until she found her new husband hanging from a chandelier...

Six months pregnant and devastated, Carmen Winters is forced to pick up the pieces of her shattered life. Before she can even begin to grieve, she finds herself being pursued by Bradford West, her late husband's best friend. Brad's strange behavior puzzles Carmen, but she is too distraught and overwhelmed to push him away.

As she grows obsessed with understanding the madness that took her husband, Carmen finds her own mind unraveling dangerously to the brink of insanity. She is convinced that her sister Helen was the last person to see her husband alive, and might have some information about his death.

When a kind doctor named Owen takes an interest in Carmen's well-being, she finds herself slowly beginning to recover. His infectious sense of humor is able to distract her from her misery, and she finds herself leaning on her new friend for support.

But Carmen doesn't know that there are darker events to unfold that could destroy what little sanity she has left...

***This is book one of a series. Expect cliffhangers. The Clarity series is the prequel to End of Eternity.**

Review

"End of Eternity" is an amazing story - written with depth, passion and poetry. 5+ pure-intensity stars.  - The Book Enthusiast

Loretta Lost's writing style is like a force of nature in End of Eternity. - F. Reede

Ms. Lost's words are, once again, unrivaled by many authors. It pops and is fast-paced enough for the modern reader by being fun and to-the-point, yet almost has a vintage-like vibe of a very experienced classical romance author. - Paige Turner

Loretta has done it again by writing a story that grips you from the first page, satisfies you throughout, and leaves you wanting more at the end. - Sam, Goodreads

Judi's review Despite all the good reviews on this book I found it on the verge of porno and just no plot. The  characters were weakly developed and I don't think anyone acts like this in the real world.   Carmen Winters is pregnant but has sex with her husbands best friend on the top of his coffin. Then she stays all night snuggling with a man she just met. She states she cannot raise this child alone. She just likes being married. Nothing wrong with that but she says she was deeply in love with her husband who went mad and committed suicide.  But only a day goes by before she is involved with someone else. I got this for free, it was a real time waster so I did not buy the series.
