Writer, Robert Bryndza's presentation of the novel Girl in the Ice  was a mystery/thriller......Once I began I couldn't quit turning the pages......The plot is intricate, intense with a lot of unsuspected twists, detours, and  and turns.......It had a surprise ending I would never of guessed who the killer was......That to me is great writing......Great inside and out portrayal of all the players....Especially, DCI Erika Foster a lady who is battling with past problem the loss of her husband on the job due the death of her husband, who died in a drug raid that she was leading. .....She blamed herself and was grieving her loss and att the same time attempting to earn her place back on the police force......Excellent police procedures and crime scene investigation that went into this novel......It had a climatic, hazardous, activity pressed closure with a surprise.......... 

The young lady on ice is 23 year old Andrea Douglas-Brown that was accounted for missing four days prior by her family....Her family is the surely understood and associated, mogul, Lord Simon Douglas-Brown and Lady Diana Douglas-Brown....They don't care for DCI Erika Foster and the way she is taking care of the case.......In the interim more young ladies' bodies are being found with the same MO.....Now there is a serial executioner free and he has his eyes on the following casualty already...........They have numerous associates yet a piece with the riddle is still missing..... ..What is sister, Linda Douglas-Brown's dull concealed secret........Will DCI Erika Foster and her group have the capacity to get the executioner in time before he strikes again.....
